1954 Kurtis 500KK
This car was built in the late ‘50s and has a documented one
owner history from new. The original owner used the Kurtis to commute from Idaho to college at Harvard.
The Meteor fiberglass body was built by Dick Jones.
The engine is a ’58 corvette with 3 deuces and a corvette 4-spd transmission.
It has a Corvette hard top, sidecurtains, steering
and windshield.
While there were lots of fiberglass specials built in the 50's and 60's few were
as handsome as the Meteor and fewer still used
the Kurtis KK chassis made
famous by Frank Kurtis who constructed legendary Indy cars.
